My Christmas present to myself

Reading things on line is great is you are around a computer but I find that I learn better if I “study” something rather then just read.  So I treated myself by ordering a few books.

“Raising Goats For Dummies” Smith, Cheryl K.; Paperback; Sold by: Amazon.com.ca, Inc.

“Raising Beef Cattle For Dummies” Royer, Scott; Paperback;   Sold by: Amazon.com.ca, Inc.

“Beekeeping For Dummies” Blackiston, Howland; Paperback;   Sold by: Amazon.com.ca, Inc.

“Storey’s Guide to Raising Sheep, 4th Edition: Breeding, Care, Facilities” Ekarius, Carol; Paperback;  Sold by: Amazon.com.ca, Inc.

“Chicken Health For Dummies” Gauthier, Julie; Paperback;   Sold by: Amazon.com.ca, Inc.

“Raising Chickens For Dummies” Willis, Kimberly; Paperback; Sold by: Amazon.com.ca, Inc.

“Building Your Own Home For Dummies” Daum, Kevin; Paperback;  Sold by: Amazon.com.ca, Inc.

The company that I work for is always generous at Christmas time.  This year we received $75.00 gift cards.  I spent mine on ordering a few books.  Hopefully the books will be in shortly.  All of the following books I ordered from Chapters.

The Ultimate Guide to Homesteading: An Encyclopedia of Independent Living, Trade Paperback

Self Sufficient Life And How To Live It Updated And Expanded, Hardcover

The Everything Guide to Living Off the Grid: A back-to-basics manual for independent living, Trade Paperback

The Back to Basics Handbook: A Guide to Buying and Working Land, Raising Livestock, Enjoying Your Harvest, Household Skills and, Trade Paperback

As you may have noticed that there is a theme to everything that I purchased.  Just a small step for learning in order to reach my goals.
