More Christmas 2018 Planning

Along with the bottle covers I have been looking at tree decorations, stockings, table decorations and anything else that I can think of in the way of Christmas crochet projects.

Here are a few things as a result of my search;

  1. Santa Candy Jar

  2. Crocheted Snowflake Table Runner  (I think the snow flakes could be done separately as tree decorations or with crochet cotton for coasters as well)
  3. I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas
  4. Beautiful Lacy Snowflake Ornaments

I finally picked a sweater pattern to crochet

The pattern calls for Homespun:

Homespun® Yarn

Soft, silky and beautiful! A uniquely textured yarn that works up quickly and easily. From shawls to sweaters to throws, this yarn can’t be beat for softness and sheer touch-ability. With solids, heathers, and beautiful self-striping ‘painterly’ colors, Homespun comes in gorgeous shades you’ll love.   Please note that some colors have long, slow color variations that cause them to subtly stripe. This is deliberate and adds to the beauty of the finished garment; such yarns are designated as our ‘painterly’ colors.   Made in the USA. – when they soft, it really is soft and drapes well

I was thinking of going with Loops & Threads “earth ombre”
